Let’s Look: Binge-Worthy Podcasts and TV Shows

Hello all!

Happy Wednesday! I hope you are having a week so far. It was a busy past few days, between the Fourth of July, a wedding over the weekend, plus work. I did sneak in a trip to do some blueberry picking. It was a huge success! Needless to say, I am looking forward to the weekend.

It’s time for another Let’s Look as I link up with Shay and Erika.

Here’s some of the prompts we have followed so far this year.

In January, we talked about How We Clean Our Closets.

In February, the topic was Things We Do Every Day

In March, it was all about what’s in our Grocery Carts

In April, we chatted about our Quiet and Prayer Time.

In May, we talked about Summer Staples.

In June, we shared our Summer Schedules.

Today’s topic is current podcasts and tv shows we are currently binge-watching.

I was never much of a podcast person, but I got into them more in the last year, especially when I am running or when I am taking long car rides.

As far as tv shows go, I am always watching a show whether it’s week by week or nightly. However, in the summertime, I don’t watch a lot of shows since I try to spend as much time as possible outdoors, whether it be in the morning, at night or on weekends. I also read a lot and sometimes prefer reading over watching tv. It all depends on the day and season.

There are some podcasts that I have listened to in the past, but have ended, so I’m just sharing my current favorite ones. Here’s a few of my favorite podcasts and shows at the moment, maybe you will be interested in them too!

The Lazy Genius Podcast– I found this podcast in 2023 after hearing about it for years. I love the practices that Kendra preaches, especially starting small. Her lazy genius principles are simple ways to bring calm into the chaos of your life. She comes out with weekly episodes, but I have been going through her library and listening to past episodes I am interested in. Episodes range from 20-40 minutes, they are perfect to listen to when you are in the car, folding laundry or on a walk. I have implemented so many of her practices in my life. She has a wonderful message and philosophy. I have also read or plan to read her books as well.

Screenshot

Books, Beach, and Beyond Podcast– I have talked about this podcast a lot recently. Books, Beach, and Beyond is from author, Elin Hilderbrand and Tim Ehrenberg. It’s currently in its second season. They talk about what books they are reading, Hilderbrand’s books, and they chat with authors, people in the book publishing industry and avid book readers. As a book lover myself, I learn so much when I listen to this podcast. Episodes are about an hour long and whenever I finish one, I always have list of books to add to my “To Be Read” list.

Screenshot

Now onto some of my current favorite shows this summer.

Bridgerton– Need I say more? I have been loving Bridgerton’s third season this summer. I like how they broke up this season into two parts, it made the season last longer especially since we won’t get another season until 2026. I really got to love Penelope this season and see her relationship with Colin change. My favorite parts about Bridgerton include the gorgeous sets, fabulous clothes and beautiful music. Truly a show you can watch to escape with. You can watch all the seasons and spin-offs on Netflix.

The Girls on the Bus– As we gear up for another election season and as a journalist myself, I really enjoyed watching The Girls on the Bus on HBO Max. It’s all about four different female journalists as they hit the campaign trail for election season. I love all the different personalities and perspectives the characters bring. I have found myself identifying with different characters at different times. I was sad to learn it got cancelled after one season, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching it in its entirety.

Fixer Upper: The Lake House– I love a good home renovation show, especially Fixer Upper. Although it was a mini-series, I loved watching Fixer Upper: The Lake House over the course of a few weeks. Seeing Chip and Jo interact and work on a project together was so fun, I love their antics and their sweet moments. Seeing the house get transformed was my favorite part of the series. It also gets me excited to see what project the Gaines tackle next.

There you have it, a look at some of my favorite binge-watches and listens. Past podcasts I have enjoyed include the Simplified podcast and Credentialed podcast. As far as good binge-worthy shows, some of my top favorites include, This is Us, Grey’s Anatomy, Sex and the City, The Office, and Parks and Rec. I have watched a variety of other shows and mini-series, but these are some of my favorites.

I am always looking for recommendations. Tell me what are some of your favorite things to listen to or watch?

See you back here on Friday!

New York City in 13.5 Hours

Hello everyone! Happy July!

I hope you had a Fourth of July yesterday. Although, I was working, I still enjoyed time with family and some good grilling and fireworks too! It was a great way to round off America’s birthday!

These past few weeks have been so busy with trips, time with family and work, so I’m a little behind with sharing about some recent trips, so today I’m catching you all up about them.

My boyfriend surprised me with a day trip to New York City for my birthday, but there was a slight catch. We did NYC in 13.5 hours and were up for about 24 hours to make it happen. If you are planning to do the Big Apple in a day, it is possible and affordable and here’s how we did it.

Central Park in the morning

We both have been to New York City before (I’ve only been in the city in the winter at Christmastime so this was my first time in the in the summer), so we have seen the big sights, but we wanted still to hit all the big stops together.

We left at 1:30 in the morning to drive to a bus station about four hours away, from there we took a bus into the city (where we caught a few hours of sleep) where they dropped us off in Midtown at 9:30 and then we hit the ground running (literally).

All I had with me was my Lululemon Cross body which was a huge lifesaver and truly all I needed. I packed a lot in there, from glasses, chargers, sanitizer, chapstick, a little body spray and then cash and credit card and I used it all through the day.

All I had for a day in the city!

I also can’t recommend enough wearing comfortable shoes and clothes as we walked a lot (I’ll show you my final stats at the end of the post).

The weather was perfect for our day in the city with temperatures in the 70’s and partly cloudy, not too sunny or hot, we truly couldn’t have asked for a better day.

First sights of the city.

We made a list of all the top things we wanted to see and added to it throughout the day.

Here’s a look at our completed list.

We started the day with a walk-through Central Park, we took our first subway of the day to get there and then grabbed a classic New York Style bagel as we made our way to 30 Rock and NBC News.

Bagels for breakfast!
So many cream cheese options!
30 Rock!
Hello NBC!

Then we headed to St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Time Square.

St. Patrick’s showing off!
The inside.
Times Square!

After taking in the sights, we hit the New York Public Library (where I had to reminisce about Carrie and Big from Sex and the City).

Then it was off to the iconic Macy’s where we checked out every floor (but didn’t buy anything).

Macy’s!

We made a stop to Penn Station and Madison Square Garden.

Penn Station
Madison Square Garden!

By this point we were hungry, so we got some classic New York Style pizza and ate in Herald Square and people watched for a piece.

Classic pizza for lunch!

I had my Serena Van Der Woods moment in Grand Central Station and then we decided to take a subway to catch the Staten Island Ferry.

I was having a moment in my Gossip Girl era.
Another view from inside!

This was one of our favorite parts of the day since we both have never done it before and you got to see the city from a different perspective and spend some time on the water. We passed the Statue of Liberty on our way back.

Another view of the city
Statue of Liberty

After we were back in the city, we stopped by Battery Park and saw the 9/11 Memorial.

As we made our wayback to Midtown we walked along the Hudson River which was a scenic way to make our way back to the city.

A late afternoon stroll.

We also stopped by the Highline, which is a park above the city which offered the most beautiful views, we popped into Chelsea Market to see all the vendors, shops and restaurants.

The highline

One of my favorite things about walking through the city is seeing all the different restaurants and stores and shops and how unique they all are tucked throughout the city. There were so many cute neighborhood spots I would have loved to check our if time permitted.

So many cute spots.

By this time it was around 5:00 and we knew our time in the city was coming to a close so we grabbed ice cream and plotted the next few hours which included stops to both Chinatown and Little Italy (which we took the subway to get there too).

Afternoon pick me up!
Chinatown
Little Italy

We then took a subway to get back to Midtown, however, we ended up in Brooklyn, so after a little bit of a longer subway ride (which felt great to sit after lots of walking), we caught the sunset as we made our way back to the city for dinner at a 24 hour diner.

Sunset back in the city
Our dinner spot.
And dinner!

After dinner, which was breakfast for dinner, we made a final stop in Times Square to see it in its glory at night, before it was back to the bus station to catch our bus back home.

Times Square at night

Our bus was delayed which made it not so fun after being up for hours with dying phones. Thankfully, it arrived, and we made it on and caught some sleep as we bussed back.

Here’s a look at my final stats according to my Apple Watch…over 18 miles and close to 50,000 steps. My legs definitely were tired by the end of the day.

Final stats of the day!

This was such a packed full day, but the absolute best gift and surprise from my boyfriend! Truly one of the best gifts he has ever given me. We have been doing more experiences rather than gifts for holidays and birthdays which we both enjoy.

So many outdoor dining spots.

The biggest things we learned from this trip is that you CAN do NYC in a day and hit all the top spots, almost everything we did was free! The only things we paid for were food, a few subway rides and then our bus and a few souvenirs (those were for me). Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and shoes especially if you plan on doing lots of walking which we did.

The City bustling.

I loved our time in the city from sunup to sundown. If you are on the fence about doing a day trip to a city, I highly recommend it. Just make sure you have a plan in place, you know your city (my boyfriend knows the city very well) and be open to going with the flow.

The streets in the evening.

I’m already counting down to the next time I am in the city!

Tell me: what questions do you have about my trip? Let me know in the comments below! See you back here on Friday for a new edition of Friday Favorites!

Friday Favorites #48

Hello All!

It’s the final day of June, but no fear, we still have plenty of summer to enjoy! I just got back from some time with my family at the beach.

The beauty of the beach!

It was great to see some extended family, catch up, and enjoy some time in the water and in the sand. The older I get, the more I realize how important it is to make time for family.

Ending June with ice cream.

This next week will busy between getting back into the swing of things and heading back to work.

Plus, we have the Fourth of July next week, in the middle of the week, no less and then I have plans to see some friends from college. It will be a busy but good week coming up.

Now, that I have caught you up on everything in my world this final Friday in June, it’s time for a new edition of Friday Favorites as I link up with Erika and Andrea!

Super Goop Sunscreen– I know I am so late to the party on this one, but I am on the team Super Goop sunscreen train! I have heard about it for years and got a face sunscreen for my birthday and have worn it a lot. It goes on so easy and has a bit of a glow which I really love. The sunscreen protects you from the sun and acts as a primer for makeup which I found to be super helpful too. On days when I know I am going to be outside all day, I always apply it to my face, do my makeup and then I am good to go. This is easily becoming one of my summer favorites.

And Just Like That Premiere– The girls are back! I loved watching the premiere of And Just Like That last week. I like how episodes are once a week, they are the perfect mid-week pick me up. I have read a little bit about some cameo appearances and I’m looking forward to see how the storylines make their way into the show. From the setting, the fashion, the nostalgia and the friendship, plus some fun relationships, I know this will be a good season. If you are watching, what are your thoughts so far?

Lululemon Purse– I got my Lululemon cross body purse for Christmas and have been loving it this summer. I brought it on day trips, running errands and out on walks. It’s the perfect size to hold a wallet, keys, a sunglasses, head phones, even a charger. It has come in so handy this summer. I’ll be sharing more about my love for it in next week’s post!

The best summer purse!

New Scent– It’s time for a new scent for summer. I am currently wearing Gingham Gorgeous! I love the fresh, floral scent it brings whenever I put it on. I got it from Bath and Body Works and it will last me months. The perfect, fresh summer scent as we enter July!

New month, new scent!

A Man Called Otto– Have you seen A Man Called Otto? It came out a few months ago, but just recently came onto Netflix. I really love Tom Hanks so I was excited to see this film, plus some of it was filmed in Pittsburgh, how cool!? We started the movie as a family and I finished it on my own. It was definitely a heavier movie dealing with deep topics including suicide, just as a warning. It’s all about a grumpy man who befriends new neighbors and how they get him to come out of his shell and start to enjoy life again. There were a lot of happy and joyous moments, but it was mixed with some adult topics too. I thought it was a good movie, but not the best Tom Hanks movie. If you have seen it, what did you think of it?

That’s a roundup of life this week. It’s always so busy coming back to reality after time away, but I’m ready to hit the ground running and get back into a good routine. As we say hello to July, how are you spending the weekend? Let me know in the comments below! Enjoy the last day of June!

Friday Favorites #40

Hey hey! Happy Friday! We made it through the first week of MAY! I hope you guys are all having a great week. This was a busy work week for me, but so fun, so this weekend is much needed for some R and R.

I hope you have something fun planned for the weekend whether it’s family time, doing something with friends, watching the Coronation of King Charles II or enjoying the Kentucky Derby. There’s a lot going on this first weekend in May.

Today’s roundup of Friday Favorites is a bit of a mix bag, so I hope you find something that speaks to you in this post as I link up with Erika and Andrea

Guacamole Chips– In honor of Cinco de Mayo, I have you covered! We picked these up on a whim for our Taco Tuesday a few weeks ago and they were a hit. They complemented salsa, queso and guac so well. There was a little bit of a kick to them which really added to the chips. If you are a chips and guac fan, consider these for your next Taco night.

Brunch with Babs– I know I am late to the game on this Instagram account, but I found Brunch with Babs a few months ago and I have been loving it. Babs has great tips and advice from cooking and cleaning to housewarming. I have been really enjoying her spring cleaning tips and have been using them a lot lately. If you don’t follow her, definitely consider checking her out.

The Diplomat– Have you seen The Diplomat on Netflix? I started watching it last week and have really gotten hooked. It’s all about a government official who gets a new gig as an Ambassador and how she adjusts to her new role with some twists. I loved the casting, the plot, and the storylines. It’s been a fun show to watch to unwind at the end of the day.

Emergency Key- I got this emergency key/tool for Easter and immediately put it on my keychain. It has so many uses and tools if you are ever in an emergency. This is definitely a handy tool to key in your wallet, purse or on your key chain. Take a look at all the uses below. Genius!

And Just Like That Season 2 Trailer– Calling all Sex and the City Fans! The trailer for season 2 is out and it looks good. From the fashion, to the friendship, the one-liners and surprise appearance at the end of the trailer, wow…June can’t come soon enough. I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens.

An extra bonus, the series finale of A Million Little Things aired this week, I watched the show from the beginning and although sad, I though the show wrapped up beautifully. If you watched, what did you think? Let me know in the comments below!

There you have it, a fun roundup of favorite things from this week. I hope you have a wonderful first weekend of MAY!

April Book Review

Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday! Today, I am sharing my April book review. I typically try to read more books in a month, but between quarantine and balancing work and other commitments, I only read one book this month. I’m hoping once things begin to re-open, I can head to the library and check out some new books and series. Until then, I have a few more books at home that still need read.

I, like many women across the world have followed the lives of Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda, and Samantha. From the series to the movies, I can’t resist a good Sex and the City marathon.

My sweet friend Madeline got me this book for a grad gift since we both have a love for SATC. “We Should All Be Mirandas” is by Chelsea Fairless and Lauren Garroni

I read a chapter or so a few times a week. The book is all through Miranda’s point of view about life, work, friendships, and love. Each chapter is a different area of her life with plenty of SATC references, quotes, pictures, and comments.

Another thing I like about this book is that it’s written by the creators of one of my favorite Instagram accounts. @Everyoutfitonsatc is an account that has many of the iconic looks from SATC broken down and has all the information on the outfit details. Both the account and the book, is well written and curated from not only a fan of the series but also someone who has done their research.

As much as a love a good serious series or an autobiography, there’s something fun about picking up something light and fun and quick to read especially in these uncertain times. My next read is all about interior design, so another light read on deck.

Just like many are turning to movies, tv shows, or books to escape for a while, I think changing up your genre can help a lot too.

What are you reading or watching this week?

Look of the Day #104

LOTD

Hello All!

It’s Thursday, almost to the weekend. This week has been busy getting into a new summer routine, but the weather has been gorgeous and it’s starting to finally feel like summer. I’m looking forward to weekends spent outside and relaxing. This three day weekend will be the perfect time to kick off summer!

Today’s look of the day is perfect for a day at work. As much as I love neutral colors, I will never say no to a bold pop of color and that’s exactly what this outfit is all about. Everything from this outfit are all articles of clothing that I have had in my closet and paired them all together to create this look.

This is one of my favorite t-shirt dresses for spring and summer, I got it from Marshall’s and I have talked about it a lot on here. I love being able to dress it up or down depending on the function. I decided to dress it up for work with this red blazer.

I have had this red blazer for a few years and I wish I could tell you where I got it from, but I honestly forget. I typically wear it in the winter months, I have worn this jacket with black dress pants or a little black dress. I had never thought to wear it in the spring but it worked so well. I love how it really pops against the black and white stripes.

I also decided to use a cherry red lipstick to complement the jacket. I don’t typically do a bold lip, but I felt it worked well with this outfit.

Also, another favorite accessory is this new necklace…any Sex and the City fans out there?! We all know Carrie isn’t Carrie without her necklace. I found a website that you can get your own personalized Carrie necklaces and I love it. It reminds me of the strong and independent woman Carrie is and how we all should remember our worth.

Carrie’s own necklace
Got my own Carrie necklace

Lastly, I wore this dress sneakers to finish off the outfit. I got mine from Target, but they were very popular last year and I have seen them on display at many places so far this season.

I love how this outfit came together, yes it took some extra time to match it all together, but I love the end result. I know I will be wearing this outfit again this season.

What is your favorite bold color to add to an outfit?

Have a wonderful and restful three day weekend!

Look of the Day #99

LOTD

Hello All!

Happy Thursday!

I am home for the next few days for Easter Break, it will be my last time home for the semester. I can’t believe the next time I will be home it will be after my junior year is over. It’s so crazy to wrap my head around the fact that my time in college is coming to an end. I have plenty of reflections of my junior year coming up but for now, I am enjoying some time at home before I am back to school to finish the semester off strong.

Today’s look of the day, is a very exciting one…we have finally reached the time in the year where I don’t need to wear a jacket 24/7!!! I kid you not, I was able to run errands in just a sweater and short sleeve shirt. It has been a VERY long winter and I am more than ready for spring. Let’s break down this outfit that is very neutral and very blue.

A neutral look going into spring

As always, Old Navy is my go-to for jeans. I am currently on the look for a pair of capris or skinny jeans, I’m planning on browsing Old Navy when I am home just to see what they have. I also, wore a crisp white short sleeve shirt from GAP to pair with the jeans, I love the look of jeans and a white shirt, I’m also on the look for another white blouse to dress up a pair of jeans, but for now, a white short sleeve shirt is perfect for running errands like I am today.

I love a light sweater especially when it’s a bit windy outside. I got this blue sweater from Target a few years back, I don’t wear it often but when I do, I like to just carry it with me especially in the summer when I am out to dinner and the weather gets cooler. I also like how the blue and white colors complement each other.

I wanted to add a fun accessory to my outfit which is where my bag came in. If you remember, I got this purse from Chicago last spring. In the wise words of Carrie Bradshaw…this couldn’t be more true, purses and shoes are my weakness haha!

This bag was not only a cute accessory but held everything I needed when I was out and about. I also topped off my outfit with a brown wedge.

99 looks later

This is just a quick look into what I am wearing as we are heading into spring. I can’t believe we are at 99 looks, I will have a VERY spring outfit picked out for you next week for the 100th look of the day so stay tuned! Have a wonderful weekend and a Blessed Easter if you celebrate!

See you on Tuesday!

Favorite Summer Accessories

For all you fashion lovers out here, today I have a real treat for you. Double fashion posts this week!!As we make our way through summer, I find myself using the same accessories over and over again. Some are new, some I have had for years. These accessories become staples in my wardrobe and are must haves for me. Now, some are very specific while others are more general.

Here’s a look into my favorite summer accessories.

  • Bold necklace

I love a bold necklace, especially in the summer. I have gotten chunky necklaces from Old Navy, Francesca’s, and even Target. I not only like getting a variety of colors to mix and match with outfits, but I also love the different shapes and patterns that big necklaces come in. These eye-catching necklaces are perfect to dress up a solid color dress, blouse, or t-shirt. You can also dress up an outfit by just adding a statement necklace and earrings. Here are a few of my favorite necklaces that are constantly seen around my neck.

A bold necklace turns a simple gray dress to a wow factor

Another way to rock a bold necklace

  • Gold Jewelry

Speaking of jewelry, when I have a busy outfit, or I am not in the mood to accessorize- which let’s be honest can happen. This summer I have been turning to simple gold jewelry to get me through the day. I used to only wear silver jewelry but now I find myself wearing gold jewelry more and more especially in the summer.  I like how it’s simple and not too overwhelming, but you don’t feel naked without having no jewelry. Here are my essentials. I love a set of gold balls, these are a perfect size-not too big and not too small. They are also great for a professional setting, not too flashy but just enough to look like you can dress for the job. I also pair my earrings with this simple gold Gemini necklace. I got mine from Francesca’s, it’s very personal but also simple. I got this “love” ring from Alex and Ani for my birthday. Anyone who knows me, knows that I adore Sex and the City. When I saw this ring, I couldn’t help but think about Carrie and Big. This ring is perfect for dressing up a business casual outfit. Finally, these bracelets from Alex and Ani are perfect to finish off a polished and professional outfit.

Up close of the bracelets and gold earrings. Simple but classic

My gemini necklace, I always have it on, so simple, but a great piece of jewelry.

This love ring is one of my favorite new accessories for summer

-Fun flats

After starting my internship, I knew I had to invest in a few pair of flats. I would prefer to go for heel, wedge or sneaker shoe-but those are not the most reasonable for the workplace. Therefore, I had to go down the flat route. I found simple black and nude flats easy, but then I cam across these shoes on sale at DSW and immediately fell in love. I love how they are slides, but the pattern is so fun, bright, and colorful. These slide shoes are becoming so popular, I have seen them in so many stores. Because there are so many colors on shoe, I can pair it with so many things, from a pink and white striped dress, and solid blue dress, even a short set. The possibilities are endless.

How cute are these fun flats, they can go with so many outfits!

  • Sun glasses

Lastly, no summer look would be put together without a pair of sunnies. I love sunglasses, but when I wore glasses, I would always be limited in what I could wear over my glasses. Now that I have contacts, I can choose from so many different pairs of sunglasses to go with outfits or what I’m feeling. I typically don’t spend too much money on sunglasses since I like to switch them up so often. I do have a black aviator and big brown pair that I wear frequently. However, I got this pair from American Eagle on sale and I absolutely adore them. They have a unique shape and color that can really change any outfit from going drab to fab. A fun pair of sunglasses are always on my summer must have.

How fun are these glasses?!

Who doesn’t love fun, summer accessories?!

That rounds up my favorite summer accessories. What are some pieces that you can’t live without, especially in the summer weather?!

Bingeable TV Shows

Ahhh the carefree days of Summer…no school work, a time for making money for most college students like myself, but most importantly R&R. Between all the working I love to relax and unwind by reading or catching up on my favorite tv shows or binge watching new shows. Here are my top five picks for bingeable tv shows and the service you can find them on.

Everyone loves a good laugh and The Office doesn’t disappoint. From Michael Scott’s antics, the relationship between Jim and Pam, and the days at a Paper Company, the laughs are endless. There are 9 seasons and episodes are less than 30 minutes. A perfect companion to watch while you are relaxing, doing a load of wash, or hanging out with friends. The Office can be found on Netflix.

A classic comedy about working in an office

Whether you have an interest in medicine, relationships, friendships, or navigating a new job, this is the show for you. Watch the epic love story between Meredith and Derek and see what it means to be someone’s person. This drama has 14 seasons under its belt and is still going strong. Episodes range 43 minutes and there are plenty of twists and turns through the series. Grey’s Anatomy can be found on Netflix.

Whether you watch it for the medicine or the relationships, this show is for you,

So many good things about this show, from the relationships, special guest cameos, the many memories in that one apartment, but importantly, the friendships. Whether this the first time you are watching FRIENDS, or you are a super fan and know every line and know exactly what it means when someone says, “WE WERE ON A BREAK”! FRIENDS is the show for you. There are 10 seasons and episodes run for 21 minutes. You can watch this with your friends on Netflix.

Nothing better than watching Friends with friends!?

The New York trends continues but this time we are catching up with our favorite girlfriends. In honor of the 20th anniversary, this show is so iconic, from the fashion, the MANY boyfriends, the trips, but most importantly, the love of girlfriends. There were so many wonderful moments that made this show so special, from Carrie’s column becoming a book, the failed marriage between Charlotte and Trey, Samantha finally falling in love with Smith, Miranda being the first of the four to become a mother, and Mr. Big going all the way to Paris to tell Carrie she is the ONE. The show ran for 6 seasons and episodes are under a half hour. The show that never goes out of style can be found on Amazon Prime.

Who doesn’t love these girlfriends!?

Do you want to be a Gladiator in a Suit? Well, this is the show for you. Scandal follows the interworking of the government, from rigging presidential elections, fixing politicians problems, and affairs in the White House, Scandal keeps you on the edge of your seat until the last second. Each season is even better than the last. While Olivia Pope is taking care of everyone else’s problems, who is taking care of her? Will she stand in the sun with Jake or go to Vermont with Fitz?! The 7 seasons wrapped up this past year and the 40-minute episodes will have you on the edge of a cliff. See what all the hype is about but binge watching this on Netflix.

The Fixer and Boss…Olivia Pope

Whenever summer is dragging, or you just want to curl up and relax try watching one of these shows to change up your routine. What shows are you currently binge watching?! Let me know in the comments below! Happy viewing!

Who doesn’t like a night out with the girls!?
  • Girls Night In. We all remember the sleepovers we shared with out BFF’s in elementary school. Why not do it again? Order in your favorite take out, pop some popcorn, and put in a chick flick and hang out for the night. A few of my favorite movies to watch with the girls are: Legally Blonde, 13 Going on 30, Mamma Mia, The Proposal, P.S. I Love You, The Lake House, Sex and the City, and Pride and Prejudice.
