Fall Bucket List Recap

Hey guys! Happy Wednesday! Even though we are in the middle of November and still have about a month of fall left, I wanted to recap my fall bucket list before we get into the holiday fun between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Here’s a recap of my fall bucket list.

Here’s my bucket list all marked off.
  • Apple Picking
I collected lots of apples and made some tasty recipes too!
Up-close of the apples.

I didn’t get to Niagara Falls, but I’m making a plan to go next spring or summer.

But I did get to go to another set of water falls in New York in Letchworth State Park.
  • Kinzua Hike
A beautiful fall day for a hike at Kinzua State Park.

I didn’t make this happen, but I’m hoping to head to some local games this winter.

  • Enjoy Hot Apple Cider

I was enjoying a cup of hot cider every morning but work, but I never snapped a picture…blogger fail.

  • Make A Fall Treat
I made cut out cookies for Halloween
I made apple crisp and apple bread from the apples I picked.
I made s’mores cookies for the first time.
And of course fall trail mix.
  • Mason Farms
Here’s the pumpkins I got from Mason Farms.
  • Fall Festival

I didn’t make it to a fall fest this year, but I clearly enjoyed lots of fall fun!

I hate to see summer end, but I always look forward to the changing leaves and fall fun. That’s just a little peak into my fall fun! What are some of our favorite fall activities?!

Halloween Costume 2018

Hello All!

Happy (almost) Halloween!!

No matter what age, I always like celebrating Halloween from the candy to the creative costumes and all the fun fall activities that go along with it. This past weekend was the Halloween dance at my school. It’s a big dance that everyone goes to. I love to see all the fun costumes that people come up with and dance the night away with my friends.

This year I had such a hard time coming up with a costume for Halloween. I had gone through a whole list of suggestions and ideas for what to go as. I finally landed on an idea that was creative and out of the box, or so I thought.

Happy Halloween!!!

I went as someone from a masked ball.

In high school, my junior prom’s theme was masquerade and I got this beautiful, painted mask from Pier One. I loved wearing the masked to my prom and I was looking for an excuse to wear it again. The costume was the perfect opportunity. So, let’s break down my costume.

I got the mask from Pier One a few years ago, I love how detailed it is and how ornate it is as well.

The black dress I wore was an old dress I had from high school. I wore it to one of my high school homecomings as well as a college dance. I love being able to re-wear clothes for different occasions. This was the perfect opportunity to wear this fun party dress again in a different setting,

My shoes are another favorite part of my outfit. I wore them to my senior prom in high school and I was so excited to re-wear them again in college for this dance. My mask has some gold elements in it so I was very happy to add these shoes to my outfit.

I put my own spin on my masked ball costume. I was very happy with how my costume turned out and I had a great time.

If dressing up isn’t your thing then try getting into the Halloween spirit with these creepy movies:

  1. The Sixth Sense

This is about a 3/10 on the Scary scale. It’s about a psychologist who works with his young patient about the ghosts and spirits he sees and how he communicates with them. A classic Halloween movie to get you in the Spooky season.

The Sixth Sense

  1. The Ritual

This is about a 5/10 on the scary scale. This is a newer film through Netflix. It is about four friends who go on a hiking trip in the woods and the scary things that happen to them in the forest, the biggest question-do they all make it out alive??

The Ritual

What are your plans for Halloween? What is your favorite Halloween costume? Have a safe, fun, sweet and happy Halloween!
