Look of the Day #130

Hey everyone! Happy Thursday. I can’t believe that we are one week from Thanksgiving. I am so excited for all the food, family, and being home. Plus, I always think it’s important to take the time to be grateful for everything we have. No matter how tough the time get, there is always something to be thankful for. 

This outfit reminds me of fall. This is perfect for relaxing around the house, getting some black Friday shopping in or visiting family around the holidays. 

The off-white/cream and the cranberry colored pants go hand and hand together. They are the perfect blend. Okay, enough food analogies, clearly I am ready for Thanksgiving. Haha!

I got these burgundy pants from American Eagle, they look like pants, but they stretch and feel like leggings, they are the perfect mix. I love the color since it is so bold and colorful. Since the pants were loud, I decided for a muted top. I got this sweater from Polo Ralph Lauren. I sometimes layer this sweater with a polo underneath, but other times, I just wear it solo. I love how this outfit looks together. I lastly, finished off my outfit with my high black boots, I got these boots from Marshalls. They tie my outfit together and they are a neutral color too. 

This is such a fun and laid back outfit and perfect for the fall and Thanksgiving season. Have a fun weekend and enjoy the holiday season.

Look of the Day #126

Hey everyone!

Happy Thursday, I can’t believe next week is Halloween…where has the month of October gone?! I’m ready for all the Halloween activities.

Today’s look of the day is sticking to all the colors of fall. I love navy and a vibrant green, especially in the fall. Now that we are in the midst of fall and the weather that comes with it, I am all about layering clothes, wearing jeans, and boots all the time. This outfit has all those things. Let’s get to it!

I wore my boot cut jeans from Old Navy that I adore. When I was home for fall break, I popped into to see what was new and I got a new pair of their regular cut jeans-my go to after the boot cut jeans. I also picked up some cute fall tops, and a new pair of shoe boots. I can’t wait to share them with you in the next few weeks. Also, Old Navy had so many good sales going on that I couldn’t resist. Now, back to the outfit.

I paired these jeans with a Kelly green sweater that I got from Ralph Lauren, I love the color and the style, the collar is my absolute favorite. Plus, this sweater is so thick and comfortable, you will definitely be warm for the fall and winter months. 

My jacket is another favorite part of this outfit, I got it at Old Navy a few years back and I love it for so many reasons, to start, I love the style and cut of it. It can be worn professionally with dress pants heading to work or worn with jeans for a day out. Also, it is so warm, it’s made from thick fabric so you will definitely be warm.

Lastly, due to my boot cut jeans, I needed a shoe boot, I opted for my black leather ones. They were a great purchase from T.J. Maxx years ago and they have held up so well. 

This outfit is perfect for those chill fall days, whether you are out doing shopping, at a fall festival, or even heading to class. What are your favorite fall colors to wear?

Look of the Day #79

Transitioning from fall to winter.

Hey guys! Happy Thursday!

I am really excited to share this outfit with you today. I pulled this look together with different things in my closet. I love pulling outfits together and mixing pieces together. I wore this outfit when I was recently home. I was out running errands and I wanted something that was that both cute but also comfortable since I knew I was going to be busy.

Transitioning from fall to winter.

Due to my lighter hair (especially in the summer) emerald green is a color that I love to wear, it compliments my light hair and skin tone. I got this sweater for Christmas a few years ago. It’s from Polo Ralph Lauren. This sweater is so warm and thick. I also love the collar, it’s so unique and really adds to the outfit.Normally, I wear it with jeans, or a skirt, but today since I knew I was going to be out and about, I opted for leggings.

Speaking of leggings, these are my favorite black leggings from GAP. I love GAP’s leggings. They are thick, so they keep my warm and are also long lasting. The green and the black compliment each other well.

Lastly, with cold weather quickly approaching winter boots are a must. I got these Sperry boots from DSW a few years back. They were the best decision. I wear them in transition between the fall and winter and I always wear them in the winter. They are warm and durable. I like the shorter boot since I can wear them with jeans or leggings.

Overall, this outfit was put together with all things found in my closet. I love when I can wear a new outfit and not have to spend a penny on it. Sometimes, it just takes some creativity to put together a new outfit.
