Friday Favorites #22

Hey everyone!

Happy Friday! We made it through the first full week of 2023! How did your first week go? Was it hard to get back into the daily routines or were you ready for that sense of normalcy?

As much as I LOVE the holidays, I was happy to get back into a new routine. Now, that we have week one almost in the book, let’s get to some Friday Favorites, shall we? Here’s some things I’m loving as I link up with Ā ErikaĀ andĀ AndreaĀ for another edition of Friday Favorites:

New Planner

I kicked off the new year with a new planner by Simplified. I went with the pattern Charlotte Street this year and have been loving it so far. The bright pinks and greens bring me so much joy! I spent some time getting it all set up last week and it feels so good to have a fresh planner to keep track of my life with. I am always on the go, so having my planner with me makes me feel in control of my schedule all the time, plus how can you resist this fun pattern?!

Hello 2023 planner!

New Journal and Devotional

With a new year comes a new journal and devotional. I picked up this journal from Barnes and Noble and have been loving the daily, guided prompts. I do my journaling in the morning and it allows me to reflect on the day before and look forward to what each new day will bring. To go alongside my journal, I picked up Emily Ley’s new devotional “Sure as the Sunrise”. I ordered it a while back, but waited until the new year to begin. For 100 days, there’s different reflections, Bible verses and a prompt for you to think about.Ā  This has been so handy for me to read and then journal my thoughts. I’m excited to see where this year takes me.

My new journal and devotional for this year.

Emily in Paris

Emily in Paris has been out for a few weeks, but I finally got around to watching the new season between Christmas and New Year’s and I loved it. From the fashion to the friendship, the beautiful French scenery, it makes me want to travel to Paris even more. If you have watched it, what did you think of the cliffhanger in the finale? Were you shocked or did you see it coming? I can’t wait for the new season!

Such a fun series!

40 Books Read in 2022

A new year brings new books to read, I am so proud that last year I read 40 books! This is the most books I’ve read in a year. The year started out slow, but quickly picked up. I read lots of different genres from fiction to non-fiction, some mystery, thriller and memoirs. I discovered new authors and re-read some classics and enjoyed getting lost in different worlds. I already have quite a few books on my shelf that I can’t wait to dig into. I am always looking for new suggestions, if you have them, let me know in the comments!

Just one of the many great books I read.

Healthy Meals

After indulging too much over the holidays, I am getting back on track with healthy eating. All this week, I have been enjoying more fruits, veggies, snack plates and salads for lunch and dinner. As much as I love my sweets, it feels so good to be eating better and having more energy. One of my goals for the new year was to eat healthier and I am on the right track this year.

That’s just a look into some things I have been loving this week. A new year means fresh starts and new beginnings and that’s what this week has felt like to me!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

2023 New Year’s Resolutions

Happy New Year and Happy 2023!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday week and weekend with family, friends and loved ones. It was so nice to spend some extra time with family, slow down just a bit and get reset for the new year. I am someone who loves a fresh start and the promised hope of a new year.

I already have my new journal and devotional ready for the new year. I purchased Emily Ley’s “Sure as the Sunrise” last year and couldn’t wait to begin it on the first of the year. I love her books and I couldn’t wait to dig into her devotional. The days can get busy and overwhelming at times which is why I like to start my days with some journaling, reflection and reading.

As we begin a new year, I like to set some resolutions for the next twelve months and reflect on my resolutions from last year.

Before we jump into the new year, here’s a look at my resolutions from last year. You may remember, I broke them up into four categories: Physical, Spiritual, Professional and Lifestyle. You can read the full post here, but just as a recap.

For physical, I wanted to continue with daily workouts and incorporate more vegetables in my diet. I did very well with keeping up with working out daily and even tried to get in some form of movement on days I couldn’t get in a full workout and I am SO proud to say that I ate more vegetables Every. Single. Day. and often times twice a day. From, salads, to sides with meals, I could definitely feel a change in energy levels when I added more vegetables in my diet.

For spiritual, I wanted to carve out more time for my faith life and I did a good job with that for the most part, but I know there’s always room for improvement.

For professional, I wanted to get more creative with my storytelling and I started out strong but waivered a bit as they year went on. I am looking to get back on track for the new year.

For lifestyle, I wanted to use more sustainable products and I did a very good job at that. It also didn’t hurt that a lot of stores went to a no plastic bag policy which helped me use my reusable bags more.

My motto for last year was “Build the Best version of myself” and I think I really found my routine and rhythm last year and I loved having more structure in my life and a normal year after the past few years of craziness. Now that we are all caught up on last year, let’s get to this year.

My motto of the year is “Embrace the Change” I don’t know what these next 52 weeks will bring, I’m certain, there will be some change, new beginnings and new routines and I’m ready to embrace it fully. I am someone who loves the status quo and who doesn’t do well with change, so I’m going to try to be more flexible and adaptable and not get so hung up on my schedules or routines. This is easier said than done, so we will see how this goes.

Here’s a few resolutions I have for 2023:

Eat Healthier and Run a 5K

I have been doing better by making healthier food choices, but I want to do a better job with it this year. I find myself mindless eating and indulging and I want to do a better job at being more mindful with my eating habits. I also want to try and run a 5K. It may not seem like a huge deal or accomplishment, but I hate running and I want to push myself out of my comfort zone and try to see if I can run a 5K. (We will see how it goes).

Take Advantage of Local Parks and Spots

I love traveling to new places to walk and hike, but there are so many hidden treasures in my own backyard, and I want to take advantage of them more this year in all seasons. I try to get outside as much as possible and I hope that I can take enjoy the beauty that’s in my own community this year.

Plan to Do More Things on Days off

I am a planner through and through and this year I want to do better with planning more things to do on days off or weekends with friends and family. I have been doing such a great job with staying in touch with friends consistently both at home and those who live further away and I want to continue to plan events or activities to do with loved ones on the weekends. Plus, this also gives me something to look forward to in the dark winter months when life tends to be a bit quieter.

Continue to Grow in My Profession

Every year, I am looking to continue to get better at my job and in my career. I plan to do this by pushing myself to tackle challenging stories and topics. I also want to try to step out of the box and get more creative when it comes to storytelling too and take every opportunity that can help me grow.

I know more resolutions will come to me as they year goes on, but I like to use this a good starting block for the new year. I really enjoy looking back to see how far I have come and what changes I have made. It’s also fascinating to see how I continue to evolve and grow as I get older.

Here’s to a year of change, flexibility, family, growth, and love.

Looking Towards 24

ļ»æHey guys!

Happy Wednesday!

I hope you are having a good week. This weekend is Memorial Day weekend and if always feels like to official start of summer to me and I can’t wait! In good news, these past few weeks, Iā€™ve been treated to lots of sunshine and 70 degrees days so it feels like I got a jumpstart to summer.

Nothing better than clear skies and spring walks

Every year since I started my blog in 2017, I always done a birthday/reflection post. Over the years, Iā€™ve enjoyed looking back to see how far Iā€™ve come and what my goals or aspirations were at different points in my life. Itā€™s interesting to see what I wanted to accomplish at 19 compared to 23.

In case you missed any of them, you can find my past birthday posts here.

20

21

22

23

Now, itā€™s time for 24. I donā€™t know if you felt this way when you turned 24, but to me, 24 feels like ā€œadult-adultā€. For most people, they have graduated college, maybe even gone to grad school, started a job, maybe in a relationship, and have a game plan for the direction they want their life to take. I know this is not the case for everyone and everyoneā€™s paths are different but from my experience and those close to me, we are all kind of in the same boat right now at 24.Ā

As I embark on 24, thereā€™s a few things that have stood out to me that Iā€™ve learned over the past year that have really made a difference and thereā€™s a few things I want incorporate in my life this next year.

Things Iā€™ve learned in year 23

-Sleep is so important. This may seem really silly and overrated, but this past year Iā€™ve really done a good job at making sleep a priority in my life. In college and right after I graduated college, sleep wasnā€™t always at the top of my mind. I had clubs to be a part of, meetings to go to, papers to write etc. and in college and I would stay up late to get everything done and still wake up at my regular time to go to the gym first thing in the morning or get things done before I started my day. I loved everything I was involved in, but it was taking a toll on my body. I was still getting a decent amount if sleep but it wasnā€™t always consistent and I wanted to change that.

A look at the Sleep Tracker app

This past year, Iā€™ve done a much better job at getting consistent sleep and winding down more at night and having a good evening routine, this especially helps when I work weird hours. As a result, I feel better, more alert, and more energized. Even just getting an extra hour or two of sleep a night makes a big difference. Iā€™ve also been tracking my sleep which shows if I really got a good night sleep or not, and for that I use the sleep tracker app, Iā€™ve used it for a few years now and I like how it tracks your sleep and functions as an alarm. I also rely on the Health app in my iPhone too. This past year Iā€™ve learned how much sleep helps your mental health too. I know this isnā€™t news to many, but for me, this made a big difference this past year.

And the Health app on my iPhone.

-Another thing Iā€™ve learned a lot over this past year is to make a point to make plans whether itā€™s with family or friends or even activities. Yes, being spontaneous is fun, but when you make a point to see people or do things, it shows that level of commitment to your friends and yourself. This past year, Iā€™ve really made an effort with friends to set up monthly dinner dates, or walks, or even facetime calls, even if things come up and we have to adjust, knowing you have something set-up gives you something to look forward too. Plus, we all can get wrapped up with our lives between work and family and itā€™s always good to remind ourselves to carve time out for ourselves.Ā

A few months back, my mom and I made a point to see an immersive Van Gogh exhibit in Pittsburgh and I’m so glad we did.
Such a cool experience

Goals for 24

-Remember how I said how itā€™s good to have a plan? This year, I want to be open to more spontaneous trips or activities. Iā€™m a girl who LOVES a routine and schedule, but this year I want to TRY to let go of the routine just a bit and be more open to changing the plan, if it means having fun or doing different things or creating memories. This is going to be a real challenge for me, but I have found when I do let go of the routine and step out of my comfort zone, itā€™s always worth it.Ā

Being spontaneous can be as simple as getting ice cream after work.

– Lastly, I want to pick up a new hobby or get involved more in my community. I donā€™t know what I want to do yet, but over the past few years, Iā€™ve witnessed so many great things in the community that I want to become more involved. As far as hobbies go, mine are pretty limited, I LOVE reading and always have a book on me, and I really enjoy exercising whether itā€™s in the form of the gym or walking or yoga, and then my blog. Iā€™m looking to see what other things I can learn or try this year, or at least attempt.

Over the past five years, itā€™s been great to see how much I have grown and changed from year to year, thatā€™s one of my favorite things about my blog, having a digital documentation of my life over some pretty crucial years. Hereā€™s to a new year and new memories. I canā€™t wait to see what 24 has in store for me!

Here’s to 24!

2022 New Year’s Resolutions

Happy New Year friends! I hope you had a wonderful New Yearā€™s!

As much as I love the holidays, thereā€™s just something special about the fresh start of the new year.Ā

During the week between Christmas and New Year I always like to set-up my Simplified planner for the new year and reflect on the passing year and set up my resolutions for the new year. I always like to see how far Iā€™ve come and look ahead to what I want to accomplish in the new year.Ā Here’s a recap from last year’s resolutions.

Each year I come up a word or phrase to live byā€¦.my phrase for 2022 isā€¦.Be the Best Version of Myselfā€¦I truly found my rhythm last year and I want to continue to cultivate my routines and lifestyles and grow in this new year.

Out with the old and in with the new…getting my new planner set up.

From mottos to goalsā€¦I always like to set a few realistic goals for myself each year and this year is no different.

I decided to break up my goals into different categories this year. The four categories that I want to work on are: Physical, Spiritual, Professional and Lifestyle.

Physical– I love getting my daily workouts in and fitness and health are a big priority for me. This year, I want to work more on healthy eating. I have a major sweet tooth, but I want to incorporate more veggies in my daily meals and be more mindful about what Iā€™m putting in my body. My goal for my physical health is to put more greens on my plate.Ā

Spiritual– I always try to make my faith a priority and I want to continue to do that in the new year. Besides going to church every week I want to carve more time every morning for prayer and time with Jesus. My spiritual goal is spend more intentional time with God every day.

Professional– I want to continue to work on my craft and skills at work. This year I want to get more creative with my storytelling and writing. My goal this year is to really up my game with how I shoot video and tell stories every day at work.

Lifestyle– As far as my goals for my lifestyle goes for this upcoming year, I want to use more sustainable and recycled products in my daily life. From using recycled bags while shopping, to using plastic containers for my lunches. I want to waste less and do small acts every day to my part to help conserve materials.

I decided to work on four areas of my life this year in addition to continue to flourish in my routines and daily life.

I canā€™t wait to see what this year holds and all the adventures that it entails as well as see how I grow personally and professionally.

Thatā€™s a look at my 2022 New Yearā€™s Resolutions.

What are some of your goals for the year ahead?

I Love Me at 23

Hey guys!

Happy Wednesday!

Iā€™m starting today with a throwbackā€¦how many of you have heard or remember the song, ā€œWhatā€™s My Age Again?ā€ by Blink 182? Thereā€™s a line that goes ā€œNo one likes you when you are 23ā€, Iā€™ve heard the song and the line many times, itā€™s even been used as captions on Instagram and Facebook posts for people when they turn 23. The whole concept is that people donā€™t like you when you get older.Ā

I turn 23 this weekend and itā€™s definitely a weird feeling, itā€™s not the special birthday like 18 or 21, but Iā€™m also not turning 25 or 30 that I feel old. I definitely think this past year I have gotten more mature and wiser and I feel more like an adult, if that makes sense? I think a lot of that has to do with the fact I am working full-time in a career I love. Iā€™m not a college kid or a young adult doing different jobs while Iā€™m in grad school.Ā I’m on the right path meant for me.

Iā€™m excited to be turning 23 and for my birthday this weekend. Although, I will be working, I plan to celebrate with family and friends before and after work.Ā I’m most excited for another trip around the sun.

This past year, I was thrown many challenges with the pandemic, but I discovered a lot about myself. From learning a lot at work and growing immensely, the importance of family, to prioritizing friends and staying connected with people in my life. I grew a lot, but I still have a long way to go, especially when it comes to the work/life balanceā€¦I still need some work on that. Some days I am killing I, other days, I have no balance at all. Iā€™ve learned this past year that the simple things and the people in your life are more important than anything.

Ā I am excited for what the year ahead holds. Iā€™m hoping for new adventures and opportunities, doors getting opened and taking on new challenges. I canā€™t wait to see more friends and family in person. I already have things planned for the summer and I can hardly wait. Iā€™m also eager to learn more about myself as I grow more in my career and with my family and friends. I hope I embrace everything that comes my way.

Most importantly, I love me at 23!

Currently #13

Hi everyone!! Happy Wednesday. The snow is falling, I have a warm cup of tea and a candle going. Itā€™s the perfect mix of warm and cozy!!!

Itā€™s been a while since I have done a Currently. I have a lot to catch you up on, so letā€™s get to it!

What Iā€™m up to: A new year always means a fresh start for me. I love creating new routines, setting new goals, and getting things fresh and clean. With the recent snowfall, I have been staying in more too! I have been doing lots of reading and binge watching too!

What Iā€™m wearing: I have been loving all things warm and cozy on days off like hoodies, leggings, and cabin socks. But on days when I work, I am loving long sleeve dresses. I love the dress to look professional but when it keeps me warm is even better!

What Iā€™m reading:Ā One of my goals for the new year is to read every day and even though we are only a month in, I have been doing very well. Here are some of the books I have read so far. HRH: So Many Thoughts on Royal Fashion by Elizabeth Holmes. I found her Instagram account several months back and immediately fell in love! She covers royal fashion at home. She breaks down all the Royal Family members outfits down for their different appearances. Holms recently came out with a book that follows the fashion of Queen Elizabeth, Princess Diana, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. I really loved seeing the incredible photos and beautiful fashion. I also loved learning and reading about the history and background of the fashion and the events. It was especially fun to read it while I was watching The Crown. If you are a fan of The Royals or fashion, or both, this is the book for you! I would give it an A.Ā

Such a good book!

Another book I read this past month was Drawing Home by Jamie Brenner. Itā€™s your typical, light and easy summer read, but why not read it in the winter when you are needing a burst of sunshine! It tells the story of a young girl, Penny, and her mother, Emma, who live in a small town and how their summer unfolds after they inherit a house from a famous artist who dies. But why did he leave it to them? When his business partner, Bea, comes to town to claim the house, a battle between Emma and Bea begins. I finished this book in a week after reading a little bit after morning. There is a bit of mystery, a bit of romance, and a whole lot of smiles!!! Was it my favorite book? No. But was it still a fun and light read in the winter? Yes! I would give it a B. I save all my reads to my instagram account and you can follow along at elspethsdaybyday.

Another fun book for the summer or winter!

What Iā€™m Watching:Ā Besides reading, I have been doing a lot of binge-watching. After a year I finally finished 30 Rock! It was a good show, but I still love The Office or Parks and Rec more. It was definitely a relief to finish it! I have been watching some short series and documentaries. I watched The Social Dilemma, which was an interesting look at social media and how it influences our lives. I also hopped on the bandwagon and watched Bridgerton, it was soooooo good. I loved how it was Pride and Prejudice meets Gossip Girl. Such a fun concept and easy show to get through. I am currently making my way through The Queenā€™s Gambit which has me hooked. I also started Virgin River was has kept me busy too. Staying in during the winter means lots of reading and tv watching.

Finally Finished
Another great watch!
My latest binge

What Iā€™m Loving:Ā Ā I am loving everything warm and cozy! Whenever I am getting work done at home or watching or reading, I always have a blanket and a candle going. I also have been enjoying lots of outdoor walks too! I have been enjoying lots of warm drinks like cooc and tea. Iā€™m also loving the idea of fresh starts and new beginnings for the new year.

How beautiful is this?!

What Inspires Me:  Iā€™m inspired by a fresh and clean slate. Anyone else like to do a deep clean for the start of the year? I did a lot of cleaning earlier this month from organizing to cleaning and getting rid of stuff. It gets me refreshed for the new year.

What I accomplished:  I felt a sense of accomplishment by wrapping things up for the old year and starting fresh for the new year, there was no better feeling than getting my planner set up for the new year.

Goals Accomplished from Last Month Last month I got in the Christmas spirit with cooking, baking, Christmas gifts and movies. Even though I worked a lot, I was so happy I still got to enjoy the holidays when I could and be surrounded with family and friends.

Goals for the New Month: I have added a few more things to my daily routines to make my days go smoother and Iā€™m looking forward to seeing how they help my day to day life. Iā€™m looking for new hobbies for the new year and one of them is to try new recipes. Iā€™m also looking for other hobbies so if you have any ideas send them my way.

More time outside is also on my goal list!

Thatā€™s just a look into my life this past month. Lots of new goals and fresh starts and a clean slate for the new year. What are some things you have been up to this year??

2021 Resolutions

Hello all!

Happy New Year!

I hope you all had enjoyable holiday seasons, from Christmas to New Yearā€™s, I hope they were spent with loved ones, making memories, laughs, joy and love.

2020 was quite a year and now as we embark on a new year, I love to take the time and set up some goals or resolutions for myself as we embark on a new year. There are a lot of unknowns with the new year which makes it hard to plan for since there are so many things out of my control, but I know there are still goals that I can accomplish or continue to work on as we begin a new year. I like to keep my goals simple and realistic.Ā

This upcoming year, I want to continue to focus on my health, both mental and physical. I plan to continue working out five days a week, whether itā€™s at home or the gyms once they reopen. I also plan to continue to work on my mental health by journaling daily and putting things in perspective.

I found good routines that work for me when it comes to schedule for work and my days off to make sure I have a balance of getting things done while spending time with family and friends and taking care of myself too.

Now, time for resolutions for 2021!!!

My word for the year is…Intentional. I want to be more intentional with my time, my friends, my family, my relationships, and myself.

My first goal is to be more intentional with my time, my family, and my friends and along with that, I want to be more present. For example, when Iā€™m with my family watching a movie, I want to watch the movie and not be working on my computer or scrolling on my phone, but I want to really enjoy the movie. There were so many times this past year when I would be focused on two things at once and not being 100 percent there and I want to be 100 percent for everything. I started doing this towards the end of 2020, and I want to keep at it.

My next goal is less screen time. Given the nature of my job, I have to be connected or on my phone or near it. But, I donā€™t have to scroll through my phone aimlessly, especially social media. I started to enable screen time and set limits for myself on my phone and itā€™s been a game changer, but I still want to be better. I want to be more present and that means putting the phone down more and focusing on where I am at and not what others are posting on Instagram or twitter.

My last goal is to be more consistent with my friends. I have some friends who I have bi-weekly facetime chats with but with other close friends it could be months before we catch up. I want to be better about staying connected with friends and checking in on them especially with a year or uncertainity ahead.

Iā€™m looking forward to everything that 2021 has to offer. I know it will be filled with hope, joy, and love. I want to continue to work on the goals and routines that work for me and work on my new goals. Overall, I donā€™t know what the year holds, but I know if I go into it with a clear mind, positive attitude and Iā€™m willing to be flexible, it will all work out.

What are some of your New Yearā€™s Resolutions or Goals?!

Getting into a New Routine

Hey everyone. I hope your week is off to a great start. One of my goals for the new year was to get into a new routine and even though it has taken me some time, I have finally gotten into a good rhythm.Ā

My new work schedule is Wednesday to Sunday 9:30 ā€“ 6:30, so a pretty normal schedule, but my ā€œweekendā€ falls on Monday and Tuesday.

It has been different to have actual days off, in college my weekends would be spent working or doing homework, now out of college, there is no more homework, studying or papers to be written. Itā€™s refreshing to not have to worry about running in different directions at all times, I get to focus on my work, being with family, catching up with friends and most importantly, taking care of myself.

During my first month of work I wanted to make sure I got used to a new job, now that month has passed, I knew it was time to get a good schedule in order. I wanted to get back to working out and hitting the gym, having a day to run errands and get things done, have time to relax, catch up with friends and find some new hobbies.

During my work week, I get up early, and will start my day off with the gym during week days, head to work for the day, come home, spend time with family, get dinner and get ready for the next day and relax a bit, nothing too exciting.

During my days off, Iā€™m looking to make one day my productive day which would include running errands, getting things done, laundry, planning outfits for the week, doing any shopping or getting appointments done. The other day would be a day more for relaxing, meeting up with friends, relaxing, or doing something fun. Now, will this work every week? No, some weeks my schedule could get changed or things come up and life happens, and Iā€™m okay with that. I really wanted to start getting into good habits as I start my career and I think getting into a good routine is extremely helpful for me. I keep all my to-do lost and things to get done in my Simplified Planner, you can see my post about getting organizedĀ here.

Having a good routine in place helps me feel more relaxed and balanced between my home and work life.

What are some things that you have in your daily routine that helps your life run smoother?

I am also looking for some new hobbies to try besides reading, binge watching the latest shows on streaming services, working out, and this little blog.

I hope you all have a fabulous week and weekend.Ā

2019 Recap and 2020 Goals

Hi everyone!

New year, new blog!

Back and better than ever

2019, was such a good year for me. From enjoying my last full year of college, going abroad in Rome during Spring Break, you can see part 1 and part 2! making countless memories with friends, graduating college, and starting a new job. It was an incredible journey. With all the highs and great moments, there was also a lot of hard work, perseverance, and support to help me achieve all these goals.

One of the biggest things that I took away from this year was the people. In life, people come into our lives at different times and for different reasons, whether itā€™s for our whole lives, a few years, or even a few months, people enter our lives and make an impact no matter how big or small it is. As people, we can always learn something from others and they can always learn something from us. I met so many people from friends, classmates, professors, and faculty who made an impact on me in small and big ways. I canā€™t wait to see where this new season of life takes me.Ā

Ā Speaking of the new season of life, not only is it a new year, but itā€™s also a new decade. I have so much hope for this new journey in life and I canā€™t wait to see where it takes me. I always come up with a motto or a word of the year and this year is no different.

Going into 2020, my phrase of the year is going to beā€¦LEARN and LOVE. With a new job I am planning on taking everything in and learning about this new job, new role in life, and learning about myself navigating adulthood. I also am planning on loving myself, my work, my family, my friends and my life. Too often, do I find myself getting caught up in being too busy that I forget how incredible life is. This year I plan on learning and loving and enjoying where I am in life.Ā

I hope are ready to take on a new year and all it has to offer. What are your phrases or words for the upcoming year?

New Year….New Mentality

Hi everyone!

Life has been busy, hence why the past few blogĀ posts have been shorter than usual.Ā To begin, I graduated two and a half weeks ago, moved home, and started my first job a week later. We had the holidays thrown in there and now we are going to begin a new year and decade…what a time to be alive. I’ve been so lucky with everything going on with my life but it’s been a lot of changeĀ in a short amount of time. Life is so good and I am loving life.

With all that being said, the new year will bring some changesĀ to the blog. First, be on the lookout for a new design for my blog. I wanted something fresh and new for a new season of life. Second,Ā  I will still be blogging but not as frequently and I will be changingĀ up posts. From now on, look for new posts every Wednesday. The topics will vary from fashion, organization, routines, transitioning from college to adult life, and anything in between. I may go back to two posts a week but for now, once a week is better for me.Ā

With all of that being said, I am so excited for 2020. I know there will be many good things to come with a new year, new decade, and a new season of life.Ā

Next week, I will have my 2019 recap and then looking towards 2020, with my goals and mantra for the new year.Ā

Thank you all for your patience and support. Happy New Year!
