Hey everyone! Happy Thursday. I can’t believe that we are one week from Thanksgiving. I am so excited for all the food, family, and being home. Plus, I always think it’s important to take the time to be grateful for everything we have. No matter how tough the time get, there is always something to be thankful for.
This outfit reminds me of fall. This is perfect for relaxing around the house, getting some black Friday shopping in or visiting family around the holidays.
The off-white/cream and the cranberry colored pants go hand and hand together. They are the perfect blend. Okay, enough food analogies, clearly I am ready for Thanksgiving. Haha!
I got these burgundy pants from American Eagle, they look like pants, but they stretch and feel like leggings, they are the perfect mix. I love the color since it is so bold and colorful. Since the pants were loud, I decided for a muted top. I got this sweater from Polo Ralph Lauren. I sometimes layer this sweater with a polo underneath, but other times, I just wear it solo. I love how this outfit looks together. I lastly, finished off my outfit with my high black boots, I got these boots from Marshalls. They tie my outfit together and they are a neutral color too.
This is such a fun and laid back outfit and perfect for the fall and Thanksgiving season. Have a fun weekend and enjoy the holiday season.

One trend that never seems to go out of style is concert t-shirts. They are a great piece of memorabilia from going to your favorite concert and you can wear them time and time again, the one problem I have with concert t-shirts is knowing where and when to wear them. Just with jeans? With sweats around the house or to the gym? It can be a hard piece of clothing to wear with outfits. After collecting t-shirts from a lot of concerts, I think I found the solution. Make a statement outfit with you t-shirt.
Favorite mantra-favorite concert
I’m going to show you an outfit I styled a few weeks ago, that still looks put together even with a t-shirt. Let’s get to it!
We will start with the central part of the outfit-the concert t-shirt. Last summer, I went to see The Piano Guys in concert in New York, for those of you who aren’t familiar with The Piano Guys, you should totally check them out they started on YouTube, perform covers of hit songs as well as write their own songs. They are still an up and coming group but already have a large following. I got one of their t-shirts when I saw them over the summer, their shirt is a quote from one of my favorite songs from them. You can listen to it here-seriously such an uplifting and motivating song.

Now, back to the outfit details, I paired this shirt with a new pair of black leggings that are fleece lined! Your girl is officially in heaven, not only are these leggings comfortable and long lasting but are now extra warm-perfect for cool evenings or chilly days. Believe it or not, I got these leggings for Christmas from the Hallmark store- you never know where you are going to find a new piece of clothing to add to your collection.

I paired the dark leggings with my go to high black boots from DSW, which as much as I hate to say it, I think this might be my last time wearing them for the season since Spring is around the corner, as much as I am ready and here for Spring, I’m going to miss these staple shoes in my winter collection.

Since it was still a bit chilly out, I decided to wear my long off-white sweater just to have an extra layer on. I’ve talked about this sweater time and time again but it truly is a go-to sweater for my wardrobe in every season. The sweater is from the Scandal Collection at The Limited.

Happy Thursday! I hope you have had a great week! With March more than half way done, we are getting closer and closer to warmer, spring weather. I’ve already been on the lookout for spring clothing and accessories. One thing that I have seen in a lot of stores are bold, floral patterns. I’ve already picked up a few pieces that I can’t wait to incorporate into my spring and summer wardrobe. Even though Spring is on my mind, I still have a few more outfits that are geared towards transitional weather. Today’s look of the day is more on the casual side but with a pop of business casual. Let’s get to this preppy look.
Modern yet classic style for today’s look of the day
Starting with the jeans. I love these boot cut jeans from Old Navy. I’m currently keeping my eyes open for a pair of jean capris or skinny jeans. Until then, I am sticking to my regular cut jeans, and boot cut jeans for the remaining weeks of colder weather.
I love to dress up jeans or add a pop of color with a pair of dark jeans. However, with today’s outfit I wanted to go with neutral colors and tones. I decided to go add just a plain white long sleeve shirt. I got my plain white shirt from Gap. I love the quality of their clothing for a good price. There is nothing like a crisp white shirt and a pair of navy jeans to make a simple outfit look clean and preppy.

Since the weather is still chilly, I wore my high black boots when I was out and about. Although, these have been my go-to shoes for the winter, I am looking forward to bringing in some lighter and brighter shoes for the spring and summer.
I decided to polish off this look with a navy blazer. Not going to lie, I borrowed this from my mom’s closet and never returned it…opps! What can I say, it’s a very good quality blazer, that is well fitted and can work with many outfits. You can wear it with dresses, skirts, dress pants, and jeans. This blazer is from Talbots, it is more of a traditional or classic women’s clothing store, the clothing never goes out of style. For this outfit, I opted for more of a casual look, wearing it with jeans and a white shirt. I’m looking forward to wearing it with more professional pieces of clothing in the future.

Hi All! I can’t believe my trip overseas is almost over! I will be sharing everything about my time away when I come back, until then I have an easy look of the day. I didn’t even plan on making this a look of the day but after I put it all together I couldn’t resist making this into a post. This outfit is pretty typical of what I wear to class on an average day. Some days, I dress it up, others are more casual but jeans, a fun shirt, sweater, and boots are pretty standard for the winter months. Let’s get to the details!
Casual and practical
In this outfit, I am wearing my go to straight jeans from Old Navy. I wear these at least once a week (one of the reasons I talk about them so much), they are long lasting, durable, and so versatile that I feel I can wear them with anything. For example, because they are a straight cut jean I can easily wear them with a high heeled boot with no discomfort through the day. I have been getting so much use out of these boots this fall and winter. The heel isn’t too high, so I can wear them often, but they also really dress up an outfit. I got mine from DSWand they were a total game changer. I highly recommend going at the end of season to get the best deals for clothes, shoes, and accessories for next season.

I always like to stock up on neutral long and short sleeve shirts for the seasons. I typically go with white and black but every once in a while I like to change it up with stripes or more colors. I got this V-Neck long sleeve shirt from GAPafter Christmas and it was on sale for $8-major score! I had an older black and white stripped shirt that needed to be retired so I was more than happy to get a new one in my collection. Lastly, anyone we knows me, knows that I am always cold, even in the summer I have a sweater with me. I saw this cardigan on sale at Old Navyand I knew I had to get it. It was also on sale and I have utilized it so much since I got it. I have worn it more with professional looks but I like how it looks dressed down. Also, although it may seem like this is a sponsored post by Gap or Old Navy, I swear it isn’t. I just really like their clothes and I wear them often!

I was really happy with how this outfit came out, like I said I was not planning on even making this into a post hence the mirror picture, but once I saw it all together I knew I had to document it. I can’t wait to be back to blogging next week sharing all about my trip.
I leave tomorrow for Rome! I’m super excited but a bit nervous too! I know it is going to go by fast, so I’m going to soak up as much as I can while I am there! Today’s look of the day entails another pop of pink for the last day of February! This outfit is warm and cozy for these last few winter weeks, fingers crossed spring weather is upon us sooner than later. Let’s start getting into the details of this outfit.

I decided to wear these black faux leather leggings with my outfit as a neutral look to go with my top and scarf. I got these leggings from Target a few years ago, but I am on the lookout for a new pair, where do you get your favorite leggings from?! Let me know in the comments below!
This long pink turtleneck is my new favorite article of clothing for the winter months. I found it at GAP on sale after the holidays and it was the best find. I loved the turtleneck so much I got it both in light pink and gray. I love the silky, soft material and the color. It is light weight, so it is not a bulky piece of clothing, a great top for transitional weather. I knew it was the perfect piece to add to my collection, this was the first time I wore it and I was so pleased with how my outfit turned out.

This scarf is another item I got at Christmas that I added to my collection. I wore it in a post a few weeks ago with a blue jacket and jeans and I loved pairing this scarf with lighter colors today. This scarf has colors of blue, pink, white, cream, and light tan. The light pink in the scarf matched the light pink scarf perfectly. These colors are perfect to pair with other outfits to mix and match them with.

Lastly, I wore my high black leather boots to top my outfit off. I got mine from DSW. I loved matching soft pink and black together, they are the perfect combination of contrasting colors. I hope this outfit gave you some inspiration for your next outfit out and about.

This weekend is my last weekend working so I’m super excited to get this weekend started and over to finish up work and then I have many exciting things in the upcoming months. Today’s look of the day is perfect for the winter weather and the freezing temperatures.

This outfit is perfect for the cold weather and I am highlighting several pieces. To start off this is a simple and casual outfit that can get dressed up with accessories. I started my outfit off with a simple pair of blue jeans from Old Navy. I love these straight legged jeans. They are perfect for high black boots or uggs in the winter. I got my black boots on sale from DSW. DSW is my go-to for great shoes at a low price, my tip is stock up on shoes off season for the best deals. I paired these jeans with a simple long sleeve black t-shirt. Old Navy is also my go-to for black and white t-shirts that are good quality and long lasting. Jeans and a black or white t-shirt is the perfect simple look.

I decided to add this carmel, black and red scarf to add a pop of color and texture to my look. Not only does it keep my warm but it is also stylish and a great accessory to change up a simple look with.

Lastly, my favorite accessory is this black winter coat. I got it from L.L. Bean. It is not only super warm and durable but great quality. Since I live up North it’s crucial I have a warm and long lasting winter jacket.
